ADR Activities
26th July 2023 Orientation programme on Mediation was organized on 26th July 2023. Solicitor and Barrister practicing at Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia Chandrika Subramaniyan threw light on importance of ADR mechanism in resolving the problems and also shared Australian experience in adopting Mediation mechanism to solve disputes.
14th to 16th July 2023 An IQAC initiative 1st National Negotiation Competition was organized from 14th to 16th July 2023 in association with KLE Law Academy Belagavi. Students from 24 colleges from across India including Goa, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh were participated in the three-day event. Shri Vijayakumar Patil Judge, High Court of Karnataka Dharwad was the Chief Guest and Shri. S. C. Metgud, Director KLE Society, Belagavi presided for inaugural function.
The valedictory function and prize distribution ceremony of the competition was held on Sunday 16th July 2023. Judge of the High Court of Karnataka, Dharwad, M.G. Uma, who addressed the gathering, also gave away trophies and medals to participants and winners.
A team from KLE Society’s Law College, Bengaluru, won the first prize and JSS Sakri Law College, Hubballi, received the runners-up trophy. KLS R.L. Law College, Belagavi, won the consolation prize, Anushka Roy, IFIM Law School, Bengaluru, won the best negotiator prize and M. Hariroopan, School of Excellence in Law, Chennai, won the NNC GKLC Spirit prize.

21st June 2022 Orientation Programme on Negotiation Competition was organized on 21st June 2022. Principal Dr. Sharada G, Patil and Advocate Manjunath Shirur were resource persons. III Yr students Miss Soumya Hiremath and Mr. Rajat shared their experience of participation in various ADR activities.
3rd June 2023 4 Teams participated in Inter Collegiate Negotiation competition organized by JSS Sakri Law College, Hubballi on 3rd June 2023 and secured first place in both English and Kannada events.

NEGOTIATION AND MEDIATION COMPETITIONS – Outside participation
07-08-2022 and 08-08-2022 Mr. Gourav Nayak and Bhagyasri Kulkarni of II yr LL.B. participated in National Client Counselling and Mediation Competition on 7th and 8th August 2022 held at M.S.Rammaiah Law College Bangalore.
04-02-2022 to 06-02-2022 Following students participated in National Mediation Competition, 2022 organised by Law Internships ( The Online Law School) in association with JMVD LEGEL from 4th to 6th of February 2022.

21st February 2015 One Day Inter Collegiate Business Negotiation Competition “Sandhana – 2015” organized to the students of degree colleges in Dharwad district. Shri. T. V. Manjunath, Registrar, KSLU Hubli inaugurated the programme, Dr. Lingraj Angadi, President, District Kannada Sahitya Parishattu, Dharwad was guest of honour and Shri. S. M. Hooli Industrialist and Member, Local Governing Body, G. K. Law College, Hubballi was the guest.
